About us

Both Molskroen and Molskroen Strandhotel enjoy beautiful sea views with the Mols Hills National Park as our backyard. Situated in the heart of Denmark, with direct access to lovely bathing beaches by Ebeltoft Cove, Molskroen is a unique oasis in one of the most scenic parts of the country.

At Molskroen’s two hotels and three restaurants, the emphasis is on indulgence; indulgence for the taste buds – and for the soul. Here you can relax, sit back and enjoy gastronomy at its best, combined with the peaceful atmosphere at Mols.

Molskroen's traditions with our gastronomy goes way back. However, he traditions are maintained to this day. The hotel went through a complete renovation in 2013, and all the 18 rooms are exclusively furnished with distinguished design.

Molskroen Strandhotel opened in April 2014, only 200 metres from Molskroen, with 29 modern rooms in maritime style, close to the sea and with a large outdoor terrace. The style is warm and relaxed and the hotel offers two restaurants: the Brasserie and A Hereford Beefstouw. Here you will also experience gustatory pleasures. Since the hotel’s grand opening, Michel Michaud has been the executive chef at the Brasserie where the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, and where the simple food is brought into focus. Today, the new chief cook of 2016, Søren Højbøg has taken over, and runs the restaurants in the same spirit.
